Multicolored plastic contains pigments, the composition and properties of which largely determine the quality of laser marking.
It is not easy to obtain a high contrast image on dark-colored plastic products: the marking must be either much darker or lighter than the material of the product. Intermediate shades may not be saturated enough for visual perception or have not enough contrast to be subsequently read by the scanner.
To increase the contrast of laser marking, many manufacturers introduce special additives into plastic.
With the help of special marking parameters, developed by our technologists and included in the material library of the MaxiGraf software, Clients can create high contrast images on painted plastic products with MiniMarker 2 and TurboMarker systems.
